Week 4: 1 John 12-17
http://biblehub.com/1_john/2-12.htm
I know everyone has one of those light bulb moments and something falls right into place. That is what has happened to me during this weeks Good Morning Girls reading.
When I first looked at 1 John verse 12 "I write unto you little children, because your sins are forgive you for his name's sake. " I saw John referring to all of God children. Then after doing some meditating and studying it came to me that he was talking about our area of spiritual growth. "Little Children" referrers to the new believer the new follower those who have been forgiven but have not yet experienced life with Christ though trouble and trials
After discovering this wonderful piece of knowledge verse 13 made a lot more sense to me "I write unto you fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children because ye have have know the father. In this verse we are introduced to two other levels of spiritual growth. First the "Father" this referrers to the experienced Christian the one who know God words and works. This person has a deep knowledge of the Lord and is often a spiritual leader of other.
Next is the "Young Man" this is where I think of myself as being in the middle. The "young men" have grown past being a little child and have experienced life with God they have been though trouble and trials and have overcome them. They are still maturing but have met the devil and his deeds and over came them.
I am still amazed at how much the Lord reveled to me in verses that at one point did not seem to make much sense to me.
In a wrap up:
Three stages of spirituality;
1)Little Child:
2) Young Man:
3) Father.
Where are you in your spiritual growth and were would you like to be?

WHERE HAVE I BEEN
Where have I been may be a question in all of your minds. Here is what has been going on.
First was the big move we move over 300 miles from our old home to get a fresh start on our lives.
But here is the biggest reason for my absence
Yep that is right baby number 4 is on the way. It has been 8 years since I have been pregnant and needless to say it is not as easy at it used to be.
I will be more active in my blog and can not wait until I get things back into routine around here.

This weeks Blog Spot Light
subject this is among women. I scoured the internet for points of view and
ideas and possible fixes. I was desperate. What I came to realize as time
went on is that there were a lot of voices out there from a lot of different
walks of life on this subject but not too many were asking the question, 'as
a Christ follower how does infertility affect me?' I didn't have a lot of
answers but I felt a strong desire to create this blog in an effort to give
a truthful, raw, sometime not too christlike view on how someone like me who
is a christ follower handles these trials of infertility. I wanted to do it
out load as a way to find healing and understanding for myself and as a
possible blessing for someone else just like me, who is lost by the news of
it all and is looking for a little perspective. God has a plan, He knows
what he is doing and remembering that on this journey has proven to be the
hardest test to pass.

My Daughters Salvation:
As many of you have seen from a previous post my 10 year old daughter has accepted the Lord into her heart. A day a mother will never forget let me share it with you. I have always had doubt as any patent I think does "are my children understanding salvation" "what age is to young" but on this day I knew.
We were in our normal church service but something was different my daughter was more attentive to the service not reading books but paying attention. Then came inventation time. We all stood to our feet and I was saying a prayer for the lost when I looked over. My baby girls was crying and shaking one look at my husband and we knew we had to let her go. To the alter she went still crying and shaking. My baby girl was saved that day. I want to make it clear that my daughter understand what she did that day and what it meant. Some say she was to young but I say when the Lord call you go i am not standing in Gods way.
After church I was talking with my daughter and she said "Mommy I was crying because I felt like God was leaving my Heart." Tear again for mommy. One of the most wonderful days of my life was know that my child was going to be with me in heaven.
Please feel free to share your salvation with us.
